Salvador: Bosnia vs. Iran

On the paper this was one of the lowest ranked matches of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

We decided to stay in the group of Iranians. The World Cup is about different nationalities and different cultures coming together. The Iranians welcomed us and were happy to take photos holding our flag.

Iran isn't a big nation in football and the only star player on the pitch this day was Edin Dzêko from Bosnia.

Dzêko scored the first goal and Bosnia ended up getting their first ever World Cup victory with a final score of 3-1.

Once again we exchanged shirts and got ourselves some nice Iranian shirts - the perfect souvenir. 

Another stadium has been crossed off on our list. Yet we are returning for the first knockout round here in Salvador. A match between Belgium and USA. Hopefully we will get another shirt each at the next match as well.
