The Pearl Monument" close by, one of the main monuments in Doha. Enjoy the view of the Doha Skyline as you stroll along the promenade.

For centuries
Souq Waqif has been the market for Bedouins to take their products and trade them. The market everything from souvenirs and clothing to animals and food. This is definitely the place to go if you want to bring a Qatarian memory home.

Finally the
Al Fanar Qatar Islamic Cultural Center is located just across from Souq Waqif. The spiral-shaped tower is one of the most recognizable buildings in Doha and can be spotted from the promenade as well.
If you go by taxi back to the airpost, ask the driver if he can pass by the incredible "Sword Gate Monument", which spans across both Banks Street and Grand Hammad Street. Quite the sight.
